Aquifers (JPEG) are the most important water sources for drinking and irrigation for communities in the watershed. There are four major aquifers in the study area:
- Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer
- Edwards Aquifer
- Trinity Aquifer
- Edward-Trinity Aquifer
